Are you passionate about your community and eager to make a difference? Taste of Cooksville is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help bring our vibrant annual festival to life! Taste of Cooksville is a celebration of the diverse culinary traditions and cultures that make our community unique. This year’s event will take place on September 21st on Dundas St E, between Hurontario St and Camilla Rd. We anticipate a fantastic turnout from both local residents and visitors, making it an event to remember.
The event offers an opportunity for students to gain volunteer experience, develop skills, and contribute to a significant community event. We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible student volunteers to assist in various roles, including: booth setup and breakdown, hospitality and information, activity support, environmental tasks and more.
Whether you're a student looking to fulfill volunteer hours, a community member wanting to give back, or someone seeking to get involved in local events, we would love to have you on board!

Please be advised that the Cooksville BIA has been granted temporary street closures from the City of Mississauga to host Taste of Cooksville. Click below for more details.
NOISE EXEMPTION
Please be advised that the Cooksville BIA has applied for an exemption from the City of Mississauga's Noise Control By-law 360-79, as amended, to allow for amplified music and sounds, including a live band, during the Taste of Cooksville Street Festival at 2580 Shepard Avenue. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Click below for more details.
