The Cooksville Community Festival, held on July 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 67 Hillcrest Avenue, Mississauga, was a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion. The festival featured music, dancing, art, children’s activities and community booths. The event brought residents together for a fun family-friendly day. Well-attended and engaging, the festival was a successful showcase of local spirit.

The BIA hosted a safety education session in partnership with Safe City Mississauga and Peel Regional Police on July 8, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event was designed to educate local businesses on effective ways to secure their properties.
