Taste of Cooksville 2025
In 2025, we extended the annual Taste of Cooksville to a two-day weekend festival with up to 22,000 attendees. The festival ran from Saturday, September 20 to Sunday, September 21, with a full slate of programming. The event featured a diverse mix of food vendors, live performances, family-friendly activities, and community engagement opportunities, drawing visitors from across Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. Cooksville Community Festival
A Day of Culture and Connection
The Cooksville Community Festival, held on July 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 67 Hillcrest Avenue, Mississauga, was a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion. The festival featured music, dancing, art, children’s activities and community booths. The event brought residents together for a fun family-friendly day. Well-attended and engaging, the festival was a successful showcase of local spirit.

Safety Education Session
July 8 Safety Event Summary
The BIA hosted a safety education session in partnership with Safe City Mississauga and Peel Regional Police on July 8, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event was designed to educate local businesses on effective ways to secure their properties. The session covered practical tips, prevention strategies, and resources to enhance day-to-day safety in Cooksville.
