Join us for a fun-filled Back to School BBQ hosted by Precise Unisex Salon at the Cooksville Square on Saturday, August 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This free community event is the perfect way to wrap up the summer before the new school year begins. Families can enjoy a day of free school supply giveaways, live performances, delicious BBQ, a bouncy castle, and activities for all ages. Young local performers are also invited to showcase their talent on stage.

The Cooksville BIA was proud to attend the Ward 7 Business Awards in support of Cooksville businesses. We celebrated the achievements of local entrepreneurs and recognized the important contributions they make to our community.
Annual General Meeting 2026
The Cooksville Business Improvement Area held its 2026 Annual General Meeting on February 19th, bringing together Board members, staff, City representatives, and local businesses to reflect on a strong year and look ahead to what’s next.
Holiday Kick Off at the Cooksville Sqaure and Santa Claus Parade 2025
On November 22nd 2025, we kicked off the holiday season at Cooksville Square by sharing free hot chocolate with the community, generously sponsored by Precise Unisex Hair Salon. Alongside the festive treats, we were excited to promote our Holiday Shopping Spree Giveaway, giving everyone a chance to win some seasonal cheer. The celebrations continued as a variety of Cooksville businesses (Nawab's Indian Cuisine, Juicy Bird's and Valencia Jewellery) joined us at the Santa Claus Parade at Celebration Square, creating a joyful atmosphere that truly showcased our community coming together. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all again next year!
Taste of Cooksville 2025
In 2025, we extended the annual Taste of Cooksville to a two-day weekend festival with up to 22,000 attendees. The festival ran from Saturday, September 20 to Sunday, September 21, with a full slate of programming. The event featured a diverse mix of food vendors, live performances, family-friendly activities, and community engagement opportunities, drawing visitors from across Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area.
