Road Closures at Hurontario and Agnes: Nov2nd-Nov9th 2026

As construction on the Hazel McCallion Line continues, hydro pole installation work is scheduled at the intersection of Agnes Street and Hurontario Street from November 2 to November 9, 2026.

Traffic Impacts and Construction Schedule

• November 2–9, 2026: Hydro pole installation work will take place at the intersection of Agnes Street and Hurontario Street.

• November 2–6, 2026: Eastbound traffic on Agnes Street will be restricted between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

• November 9, 2026: Agnes Street will be fully closed at Hurontario Street.

  
  

Emergency access will be maintained where possible, and signage will be posted to guide motorists around the work zone.

What to Expect

Construction activities are scheduled for Monday to Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. 

During this period, motorists may experience minor delays. Nearby residents, pedestrians, and businesses may also be affected by pedestrian detours, temporary sidewalk closures, construction lighting, and increased construction vehicle activity.
