Agnes Street Impacts September 8th-14th
Please be advised of upcoming traffic impacts on Agnes Street at Hurontario Street as part of ongoing Hazel McCallion LRT construction.
Metrolinx has advised that crews will be installing Alectra hydro poles at the intersection, with traffic impacts scheduled from September 8 to 14, 2026.
From September 8–11, eastbound traffic on Agnes Street will be restricted between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. On September 14, Agnes Street will be fully closed at Hurontario Street. Emergency access will be maintained.
Businesses in the area will remain open during construction, and visitors are encouraged to follow posted signage and detours for access. Minor delays and temporary pedestrian detours may occur.
The Cooksville BIA encourages residents, visitors and businesses to plan ahead and allow extra travel time while work is underway.
